I finally got a full attic pull done in under 3 hours with a glow rod trick

My usual method took forever fishing through blown insulation, but last Tuesday I tried taping a small magnet to the rod tip to grab the fish tape from the far side, and it worked on the first pull, so has anyone else used magnets for those nightmare attic runs?
