Old lady in Lakewood yelled at me for 10 minutes about her TV being broken

I showed up to her house last Tuesday and she starts screaming at me before I even knock on the door. Turns out she unplugged her cable box to plug in a space heater and then blamed me for the outage. I had to show her the cord was just sitting on the floor next to the outlet before she would calm down lol. Anyone else get blamed for stuff the customer did themselves?

Buddy of mine works appliance repairs. He went to this lady's house once for a dryer not heating. She'd been yelling at him on the phone for a week about it. Gets there and finds she'd stuffed like four pairs of wet sneakers inside the drum and ran it. The thing was jammed full of shoes. He pulled them out and she just stared at him and said "well those were supposed to dry, weren't they?" People are something else.

Gotta wonder if some of these customers just like having someone to yell at, you know? @emery_black that shoe story makes me think people would rather blame us than admit they messed up.
