Pro tip: taping the coax ends before pulling through a 90 in an attic saved me a callback in Mesa
I used to lose signal on maybe 1 in 5 attic pulls because the connector got nicked on a nail or truss plate, and I'd have to go back out. Last week I started wrapping each end in two layers of electrical tape and taping the pull line 6 inches back, and I got through a tight run on a 1978 ranch house with zero damage. Anyone got a better wrap method for tight soffit runs, or is tape the way to go?
