That condo job in Arlington last month made me switch to pull-through fishtapes

I was running coax through a 3-story condo complex near the mall and hit a dead end in the wall cavity that took me two hours to work around. Turns out the previous installer had left a crimp tool sitting inside the drop ceiling that was blocking the path the whole time. Has anyone else had to deal with weird junk left behind by other trades that screws up your runs?

Can't believe someone left a whole crimp tool sitting up there, that's just asking for trouble. I would've been cursing up a storm after two hours of fighting that wall.

Just asking for trouble" is right. That thing could've fallen off that scaffolding and cracked someone's skull open, not just cost the business a few bucks for a replacement. A clean jobsite is a safe jobsite, and leaving tools in dumb spots like that is how people get hurt or fired.
