The $180 crimping tool I only used twice, learn from my mistake

I bought a fancy battery powered crimper last spring thinking it would speed up my installs, but my old hand tool does the same job fine. Cost me $180 and it sits in my van taking up space, I even had to buy a second battery for it because the stock one died mid-job. The worst part is I didn't even need it, I just wanted to look pro in front of a new apprentice. That apprentice quit after two weeks anyway, so I'm out the money and the bragging rights. Has anyone else dropped cash on a tool they barely touch, or should I just sell this thing on Craigslist to recoup some loss?

Selling it on Craigslist is the right move, but timing matters. Spring is when everyone else is also unloading their barely used tools, so you will get less money. Wait until fall when the hiring season slows down and DIYers get desperate, then list it for what it is worth.
