Thought those new push-on coax connectors were just a gimmick for new guys
My boss in Cleveland gave me a box of them last month and said to try it on a tough attic run. I used one on a job yesterday where I had maybe 8 inches of room to work, and it clicked on perfect in two seconds flat. Anyone tried these on old, stiff RG6 yet?

Cleveland bosses handing out gimmicks that actually work is a new one.

That gel stuff on the old coax did the trick for me too.

I mean, the real test is if they hold up over time when the cable gets yanked on. I put one on some old, sun-baked line on a dish mount last fall and it's still fine, no water in it either. Maybe it's just me but that's what sold me, not just the easy install.
