TIL that pre-making all my fittings before climbing the pole was slowing me down on every single job
Been installing for 6 years and always built every fitting on the ground first, thought it was faster. Last Thursday in Council Bluffs I watched a guy named Ray finish a 3 outlet drop in 22 minutes by making each fitting as he went, no staging at all. I tried it on my next two jobs and shaved almost 15 minutes each time, mostly because I stopped guessing wrong on lengths. Anyone else switch to this or am I just late to the party?
