Took my foreman's advice on grounding blocks, paid for it in Bellmore

My old foreman swore by using just one grounding block per drop, said two creates a loop and causes noise. Last month I did a double outlet job in Bellmore with his method and the modem kept dropping sync, took me 3 trips to figure out the second block was needed for the separate cable run. Has anyone else found that old-school advice doesn't hold up on newer DOCSIS gear, or did I just wire it wrong?

My buddy Mike had the same issue on a Long Island install, swore by that trick until his uploads died.
