Update: switched from pulling multi-room roughs in one pass to 3 runs per house, and I can't decide if I'm faster or just less sore
For 6 years I ran every rough in a house in one pass, drag the spool room to room, staple as I go, done by lunch. Last month my lead on a job in Rochester made us split it into 3 passes: top floor first, main floor second, basement last, with a fresh pull each time. My knees feel way better and I'm not dragging a 1000 ft spool back to the truck 4 times a day, but I swear the clock says I'm 20 minutes slower per house. Which way do you run it, one pass or split, and does the time math actually work out for you or is it just easier on the body?
