Worst cable run I've had in 5 years happened last Tuesday

I had to run 200 feet of RG6 through a commercial building last Tuesday. Took me 6 hours because someone packed the ceiling with old phone lines and fiber. Snagged my cable 3 times and had to re-pull. Anyone else deal with ridiculous ceiling rats nests like that?

Pulled a 100 foot cat6 through a drop ceiling last month and found an old pizza box blocking the path halfway through. Took me forever to get it free without tearing the cable.

... and honestly I gotta say Eva, I think people blow this stuff way out of proportion sometimes. Like yeah a pizza box in a drop ceiling is annoying but come on, tearing a whole cat6 cable? Those things are built tougher than people give them credit for. I've yanked plenty of cables through way worse than greasy cardboard and they came out fine. Maybe you were being too careful with it. Not saying it wasn't a pain but I feel like half the drama in this job is just people making a bigger deal out of stuff than it really is.
