Am I the only one who counts 47 broken cameras piled up before I finally admit I have a parts problem?
Third shelf in the back room hit 47 dead bodies last night, and 31 of them are the same Nikon FG with the shutter squeal nobody wants to pay to fix. That number mattered because my wife walked in, did the math on shelf space, and I ran out of excuses. Do you all part them out or just keep stacking until someone needs a mirror box?
47 cameras is just the start of the hoard, my friend. The real fun begins when you start naming them and giving them little jobs so they feel useful. My own pile of dead FG bodies got so bad I started telling people the shelf was load bearing and it needed the weight. Your wife is right though, that 31 count on one model means the shutter squeal has officially beaten you. Maybe it's time to part out the worst ones before she starts googling how much a storage unit costs.
