Blew $150 on a so-called "pro" cleaning kit for sensor dust. What a waste.

Oh, well there's your first mistake. $150 is way too much for a sensor cleaning kit. You can get the same basic setup for around $30 or $40. The swabs and fluid are pretty much the same stuff, just different packaging. Next time try the brand that starts with V, they sell kits for like $35 and they work just fine. Save the extra money for a nice lunch.

I mean, I used to think you had to spend a lot to get a decent sensor kit, but honestly after seeing this and what @ellis.leo said it makes total sense that most of it is just the same stuff in different boxes. I was about to drop close to that on one of those fancy brand kits and now I'm definitely going to look for a cheaper option instead. Good to know I can save that cash for something else.
