That 1980s Minolta shutter got me good yesterday in Phoenix
Picked up an X-700 with a sticky mirror, thought it was just old grease, but the shutter curtain actually snapped mid-test roll. Tore it apart and found the titanium blades had fatigued, nobody warned me about that failure mode. Anyone else seen this on the later X-series bodies or am I chasing a unicorn?
