Just got back from a trip where my 'waterproof' tent leaked at every seam

I spent $180 on a new 2-person tent that claimed to be fully sealed, but during a light rain in the Adirondacks, water dripped right through the stitching. Ended up sleeping in a damp puddle for two nights. What's a truly reliable tent brand you guys trust for wet weather?

Check the seam tape before you buy. I've had good luck with MSR tents holding up.

Solid advice from @wesley_adams, though my last tent check was just making sure the cat hadn't clawed it.
