Lost $150 on a cheap camp stove that nearly caught fire

Bought this off-brand butane stove off Amazon for $30 back in May. First two trips it worked fine, but on the third one the fuel canister started hissing and the whole thing got way too hot. I grabbed it just in time before it lit my table on fire. Ended up tossing the whole thing and getting a name brand one for $45 more. Anyone else have a cheap stove fail on them like that?

and honestly @gavinb97 i'm kinda with you on this one. everyone's acting like it was some huge disaster but like... was it really that deep? people get crazy dramatic over the smallest things these days, blowing stuff way out of proportion. i saw what happened and yeah it wasn't great but calling it a big deal feels like a stretch. sometimes people just need something to be mad about, you know?
