I set up a small business account with a credit union here in Halifax and the 5 day hold on incoming e-transfers was killing my cash flow, so I tried routing client payments through a separate account at one of the big banks and the funds landed next day. Saved me about $200 in bridge fees last month, but now I'm wondering if I'm just gaming a system that exists for fraud reasons.
