Just found out Vancouver fintechs pay 30% more than Toronto for senior devs

I was digging through some salary data on Levels.fyi last night for a friend who's job hunting. I always assumed Toronto was the pay king for fintech in Canada. Turns out Vancouver companies like D-Wave and some smaller shops are offering way more for senior roles. Has anyone else seen this gap or is it just a few outliers?

The Cost of Living difference shrinks fast when you factor in Vancouver housing prices eating that 30% boost. Negotiate with Toronto offers after getting a Vancouver one in hand, it puts real pressure on HR to match.
