My old boss in Toronto insisted we focus on B2B, not B2C, for our first product

We pivoted after 6 months and our pilot with a credit union in Calgary just closed a $50k deal. Anyone else find B2B was the right move for their early-stage fintech?

Honestly it's like that everywhere, not just tech. People want to buy from a name they know and trust. A business feels like a safer bet than some random person, even if the product is the same.

Maybe @elizabeths51, that's why local farmers markets feel so different, you're buying from the person who grew it.
