Open Banking delays are killing us: 2026 target vs reality check
Saw the latest OSFI update on open banking and they're pushing the real rollout to 2026. Meanwhile the UK has had it running for years. Two sides here: some say Canada's cautious approach protects consumers, which I get, but others say we're just handing the market to big banks who already dominate. We've been waiting since 2021 and our startup can't build around a timeline that keeps moving. Last week a US investor literally asked why we still invoice manually. Has anyone else hit this wall where the regulatory pace is deciding your product roadmap? Are you building on what's available now or waiting for the real APIs?

Slow rollouts beat half-baked systems, trust me.
