The day a payment system glitch cost me $4,800 in real estate commissions

Last Thursday I was at a coffee shop on King Street West when I noticed a big transfer from a client sale wasn't showing up in my account. Turned out the startup I'd been using to split commissions had a processing error, and I spent two hours on hold while the deal was supposed to close. Has anyone else here had a fintech tool hold up a major transaction on a deadline?

Did @the_nathan even check if that app had any protections for your money if they went under... because that's a hard lesson waiting to happen.
