Just hit 100 rejections on my job hunt spreadsheet and it's weirdly motivating

Started tracking every 'no' after I got laid off from my marketing job in Austin back in January. The number felt awful at first, but hitting triple digits made me laugh and realize I'm just working through a big list to find the right fit. Has anyone else found a weird milestone that actually helped them keep going?

Sounds like you're making a game out of being unemployed.

Counting rejections just makes the whole thing feel like a loss column.

How many applications did it take before you stopped feeling bad about each rejection? I hit 50 and it was like a switch flipped, where the number just became a score in a game I was determined to win. It really does turn the whole process into something you can manage.
