My boss promised me a raise 3 months ago and now keeps dodging the conversation
Back in June I sat down with my manager at that coffee shop on 5th Street and he shook my hand saying a 15% bump was coming in July. Well July came and went, then August, now it's almost October and every time I bring it up he says "let's circle back next week." I've been killing myself on these client reports and staying late, but I'm starting to think he never actually put the request in. Has anyone else dealt with a boss who just ghosts on a raise they promised?

Maybe he's waiting for you to force the conversation in a formal setting like a scheduled one on one instead of casually bringing it up. A lot of managers use that vagueness as a way to shut you down without actually saying no. Have you tried sending a calendar invite with the specific agenda of discussing your raise?
