Spent $350 on a mock interview service, got a real job offer 2 weeks later
I was job hunting in Chicago for 5 months with zero callbacks. My buddy told me about a local coach named Ray who runs 60 minute fake interviews and records them. He tore apart my answering style, pointed out I rambled for 90 seconds on every question, and made me practice the STAR method until it stuck. The next real interview I did felt way more relaxed since I'd already bombed worse in front of Ray. Anyone else tried paying for mock interviews or is this just a waste of cash?

Mock interviews are fine, but $350 sounds like desperation money.
