Stop putting your notice period on your resume, it's screwing you over
I've seen three candidates in the last month get ghosted after recruiters saw "2 weeks notice" or "1 month notice" listed on their resume. It looks like you're already checked out or job hopping, and hiring managers read it as a red flag before they even call you. I only realized this after a recruiter in Denver straight up told me, "We don't care when you can start, we care if you'll stay." So why are people still doing this? Has anyone else seen this backfire, or am I off base here?
