Thought I'd knock out my resume in an afternoon, but that was 3 weeks ago

Spent a full Saturday rewriting my resume for a design role and thought it was solid, then a former coworker pointed out my portfolio links were broken and my summary was just buzzwords. Took me another 15 days to actually get it right between fixing links and reworking my project descriptions - has anyone else had a simple task balloon into a month-long project?

Give it a break, it's a resume not brain surgery. You fixed the links and cut the buzzwords, so it's probably fine now. Unless you're applying to some insane FAANG job, nobody's overanalyzing your project descriptions.

Last time I was job hunting I just slapped a simple "check my GitHub for examples" at the bottom and that got me more interviews than any fancy formatting ever did.

Pretty much this. Actions speak louder than fancy fonts.
