Vent: I paid $500 for a 'career accelerator' course that was just recycled blog posts
I saw an ad for this online program promising to teach you how to break into tech project management in 90 days. The content was just a bunch of free articles from 2018 stitched together with no real guidance. Has anyone found a legit course that actually helped them switch fields?

Ugh, that is so frustrating. It feels like these programs are just preying on people who want to make a change. I've seen so many stories like this and your friend's, it makes me really mad. It's hard to know who to trust when you're trying to learn something new.

My buddy Jake spent almost $700 on a coding bootcamp's "job guarantee" package. They just gave him a list of free practice websites and told him to apply to 200 jobs a week. He never got a single interview from their so-called network.
