Admitting my scribe was wrong after a job in Nashville
Tbh a trim carpenter with 30 years in the game watched me mark a door jamb with my scribe and said 'you're cutting to the line you drew, not the line the wall made,' so now I pencil in the reveal first and it's saved me two re-cuts this week, anyone else have an old timer correct a habit you swore by?

Cutting to the drawn line only works if that line matches the wall's actual angle, old timers know that trick.
