Found a cheap way to fix warped 2x4s using just water and bricks
I had a stack of pressure treated 2x4s from Home Depot that were twisted like crazy after sitting in my garage for a week. I wet them down, laid them flat on the driveway, and stacked 8 regular bricks across each one for 2 days. Has anyone else tried this method or found a better fix for straightening lumber?

I once tried that brick trick and ended up with a permanent curve from forgetting about them for a week... plus the bricks left nasty red stains I couldn't scrub off. These days I just lay them flat with some weight and a fan blowing on them, gets them straight in about 24 hours without the red clay mess. Still haven't figured out how to get the stains out of my driveway though...
