PSA: My neighbor's deck was squeaking like crazy and I finally fixed it with a $4 tube of construction adhesive.

I drilled a small hole at an angle into each joist hanger, pumped the adhesive in until it squeezed out the sides, and the noise was gone by morning, so has anyone else had luck with this method on pressure-treated lumber?

Nice! I did the same thing on my old deck and it's been silent for years now.

Glad to hear it worked for you. My deck is quiet too, but mostly because I never go out there anymore.

Yeah, silent for years is the dream. I mean, I did the creaky stair fix with those special screws and it was a game changer. No more that awful groaning sound every time you step near the railing. Makes the whole house feel more solid, you know? Totally worth an afternoon of work.
