Watched a guy try to hang a door with a 4-inch gap at the bottom

He was using a cheap circular saw on the job site in Boise and didn't check his blade depth, just ripped the bottom off. Now the homeowner is asking why there's a draft. How do you even get through an apprenticeship without learning to measure twice and set your tools?

How do you mess up that bad? I saw a guy cut a whole countertop short once because his tape measure was bent at the end. He just trusted the hook and didn't check for square. Had to redo the whole laminate top on his own dime. Some people just never learn to double-check the basics.

That's a whole new way to install a pet door.

Actually, it looks like the only way to get that door in a wall that thick.
