A $200 mistake on backing material taught me a hard lesson

I bought cheap backing for a big commercial job last month and the whole thing started delaminating after two days. Has anyone else had a bad experience with budget backing materials?

Yeah cheap backing is never worth it on commercial work. Stick with mid-grade materials from a known supplier, you'll save yourself the headache.

Learned that lesson the hard way last year when a cheap backing completely delaminated on a storefront job and I had to tear it all out. Mid-grade materials cost more upfront but they hold up way better and you dont waste time on callbacks. Ever had a job fail because you tried to cut corners on the materials?

Delaminating a whole storefront job sounds brutal.
