Hit 500 straight days of installs today, kind of wild
Honestly, didn't plan this, but today marks 500 straight weekdays of carpet installs for me. That's about 2 years of showing up, not counting weekends or the odd holiday off. I only realized it when I flipped my calendar back to March 2023 and counted every job sheet in the truck. Doing that much work really forces you to see patterns in seams, stretching, and what glue actually holds in humid basements here in Ohio. Has anyone else ever tracked their install streak like that, or is that just my weird way of staying motivated?

Wait, 500 straight weekdays? That means you basically haven't taken a random Tuesday or Thursday off in two years. I mean, I get sick days and appointments happen, so how did you pull that off without a single missed day? That's some serious dedication, but also kind of scary. Like, your body just knows the drill at this point, you could probably do a seam in your sleep. I gotta say, I'm impressed but also a little worried about your sanity, no offense.
