One hundred installs in a row, no callbacks, finally hit it

I kept a tally on my shop wall after a rough patch in March, and last Friday I landed my 100th straight job without a single callback. It was a redo in Akron where the old carpet had pet stains all over, but the seams came out clean and the customer tipped me $50. Has anyone else tracked a personal streak like that, or do you just wait for complaints to tell you how you're doing?

Fifty bucks on top of a hundred clean jobs? That customer must have been thrilled out of their mind. I’ve never kept a tally like that, but I bet most folks don’t notice their good runs until something bad finally happens.
