Spent 3 hours fighting a single seam in a 10x12 bedroom
I was doing a basic bedroom install in Phoenix last Wednesday and this one seam near the door just would not lay flat no matter what I did. After pulling my hair out for way too long I realized I had accidentally stretched the carpet in the wrong direction from the roll. Has anyone else done something dumb like that and wasted half a day over a simple mistake?

That "wrong direction" thing is the worst. I feel your pain.

And the worst part is when they double down on it too. Like alright, you're already past the exit, just pull over and flip around, don't make it into a whole thing.

Jump right in and tell them they turned a simple mistake into a whole road trip. I swear, @wendysanchez, the double down is what makes me want to pull my hair out. Like, congratulations, you just made a five second oops into a fifteen minute ordeal for everyone behind you. It's always the same too, they get all defensive and start gesturing like WE'RE the ones who don't know how to drive. Just own it, take the L, and find a gas station to turn around in. Nobody's impressed by your commitment to the wrong way, buddy.
