Can we talk about my dog joining a client meeting I couldn't mute?
I was on a serious Zoom with a vendor in Cleveland last Wednesday, and my golden retriever started barking at the UPS truck right through my closed office door. It took me 20 full minutes to realize my headset was not on mute because I was panicking and clicking the wrong button. Has anyone else had a pet ruin a call and just had to awkwardly wait it out?

Oh man, absolutely. My cat decided to jump on my keyboard during a quarterly review and closed the whole meeting window. I just sat there staring at my screen like a complete idiot.

Tbh, is it really that serious though? Like yeah it's annoying but a quarterly review isn't some life or death meeting. Honestly, most people zone out during those anyway or just check their phones. Ngl, your cat probably saved you from an hour of boring slides and fake enthusiasm. You can always hop back on and say your wifi dropped out. Everyone blames tech issues for stuff like that anyway.
