My cat sat on the mute button during a job interview and I got the offer anyway
I was 10 minutes into a Zoom call for a data entry job in Sacramento when my orange tabby, Gus, parked himself right on the laptop keyboard and killed the mic. The hiring manager just laughed and said "I heard a meow, so I'm guessing you're still there?" and we ended up talking about pets for 5 minutes. Has anyone else had a pet actually help them in an interview like that?
