A guy at the laundromat in Austin showed me a better way to fold fitted sheets

I was struggling with a king size sheet, bunching it into a ball like I always do. This older man at the next machine just walked over and said, 'Here, turn the corners inside out and tuck them into each other.' He demonstrated once, and it actually made a neat rectangle. Has anyone else picked up a random life skill from a total stranger like that?

Wait, that's the trick? I've been trying to tuck the corners from the outside this whole time, no wonder it never works lol.

Honestly I read somewhere that inside-out folding is the only way it stays put.

My grandma taught me the inside-out method with hospital corners back in the 90s. She swore by it for fitted sheets, and honestly, she was right.
