Gas station clerk in Bakersfield told me to walk around the pumps and count the cars, weirdest parking trick that actually works
Got stuck at a packed Love's off I-5 two weeks ago, every pump lane jammed, and I was about to give up and hit the next exit. Guy working the counter saw me hovering and says just walk a lap around the whole pump island and count cars with nobody standing by them. People pull up, go inside, forget what pump they're at, and leave their spot wide open. Took me one lap, counted 3 open spots, pulled right in. Now I do it every time and it saves me 10 minutes easy. Has anyone else heard of this or is it just a Bakersfield thing?
