Guy at the laundromat on 5th showed me how to line up the machine so my socks stop vanishing
I was at the Spin City on 5th last week and this older guy noticed me fishing around under the drum for a missing sock and said I was loading wrong because I just dumped everything in. He showed me to keep socks in a mesh bag clipped to the top rim so they can't slide behind the gasket, and I haven't lost one in four loads since. Is there some other small thing like that people just never tell you about laundry?
