I finally tried talking to the quiet guy at my bus stop
For months I just kept to myself, but yesterday I asked him about the book he was reading, a sci-fi novel called 'The Long Earth'. Turns out he's a retired librarian who spent 30 years at the Seattle Public Library, and he told me the whole history of the author. I guess I learned not to judge a book by its cover, or its reader. Has anyone else had a stranger turn out to be way more interesting than you expected?
