My unexpected guide in a Moroccan market saved my day
I was lost in the Marrakech souk, swamped by the crowd and totally confused. This older vendor saw me struggling and just offered to walk with me, no strings attached. We ended up chatting for hours, and he showed me a secret spot for mint tea with a view that was absolutely STUNNING. He told me about his family and life in the medina, and I shared stories from back home. It felt like we were old friends catching up, not strangers who met minutes before. That kind of random kindness is what makes traveling so special for me. Does anyone have a similar story where a stranger totally made your trip better?

Strangers helping each other can change both lives, not just the traveler's.

Wasn't convinced until it happened to me too.

But what if the person watching the help gets changed too? Like a ripple effect nobody talks about.
