Random guy at the gas station changed how I mix my cleaning chems

I used to just dump soap and water into my pressure washer tank without measuring, figured it didnt matter much. Then some old contractor at a Shell station in Denton last Thursday told me I was wasting product and actually harming the pump by over-concentrating. He showed me his ratio chart right there on his phone and honestly my jobs have been way more consistent since. Has anyone else gotten totally random practical advice from a stranger that actually stuck?

My buddy Dave got told by some dude at an autozone that he was using the wrong oil for his truck. Switched to what the guy said and his engine stopped knocking. He still talks about that guy like he's a prophet or something lol.

@emma_dixon70 that Autozone guy must have felt like a hero for the rest of his shift.

Holy crap, @emma_dixon70 your buddy Dave still brings that guy up like he's a saint? That's wild. An Autozone employee actually knew what he was talking about, that's a genuine urban legend right there.
