Totally, I've been there. I spent way too much last year on a fancy warranty for my laptop and it was worth every penny when the screen went weird. What's the last thing you paid extra for just to sleep better at night?

Exactly what hannah_perry said, peace of mind is a real thing you can buy. I just paid extra for the faster shipping on a present for my mom. It was stupid expensive for two days, but knowing it will get there on time means I won't be up all night worrying. That feeling is worth way more than the money sometimes.
