Spent $180 on a "Networking Event" in Denver and Ended Up Talking to One Person
Last month I paid $180 for a business mixer at the Denver Athletic Club, thinking I'd meet a bunch of people in my field. Instead, I got stuck in line at the coat check for 20 minutes next to a guy named Dave who runs a dog grooming van, and we ended up grabbing tacos. Best part of the night. Has anyone else dropped real cash on an event and only clicked with someone from the hallway?
