Bought a fancy mandoline, lost a fingertip worth of time
Spent $60 on a stainless mandoline with all the blades last month, thought it would save prep time. Sliced my knuckle on the second use, bled all over a prep list for 12 covers. Took 4 days off to heal and threw the thing in the back of the drawer. Anyone else ditched a tool that just wasn't worth the risk?

Hate how one bad cut can ruin a whole tool for you, even if it was supposed to make things easier.
