Looking at bubble storage for my dad's old truck that's going to sit for a few years. I see CarCapsule and AirChamber both mentioned—any real difference between them? I know CarCapsule has been around forever, but AirChamber seems cheaper. Don't want to cut corners if the cheaper one is flimsy though.

Haven't tried AirChamber, but my CarCapsule has been running almost nonstop for 5 years on a '69 Camaro. Zero issues, no dust, no rust. The constant filtered air really does keep everything fresh. If you're storing long-term, the reliability of the fan and seam sealing is critical. CarCapsule nailed it decades ago.

I've used both and the CarCapsule is just better built. The material is thicker and the zipper feels heavy-duty. The AirChamber worked okay for one season but the fan got noisy and the plastic felt thin. For a few years of storage, I'd definitely pay the extra for CarCapsule—it's the original for a reason.
