Heard an old timer at the auto parts store say he never lets his truck idle to warm up
I was in line at the counter on Saturday when a guy in his 70s told me he's had his 1972 C10 for 30 years and always lets it idle for a few minutes before driving off, even in summer. I always thought that was just something people did in the cold, so now I'm second guessing how I start my own project car. Does anyone here actually let theirs warm up, or is that just something old guys say?
