I finally stopped fighting rust with a wire wheel and tried a $12 bottle of Evapo-Rust on my '67 C10 bumper
Been going at the surface rust on my bumper for weeks in the garage in Fort Wayne and the wire wheel just kept smearing it around. Soaked the bracket bolts and a few crusty spots in Evapo-Rust overnight and the stuff came off with a rag the next morning. Wish I'd tried it before I burned through two $8 wire wheels and most of a Saturday. What are you guys using for pitted chrome that this stuff won't touch?
