Serious question, how do you all plan around one good weekend for a project car?
Last month I had four straight days off and got more done on my 1972 Nova than in the six months before combined. The weather in Sacramento was perfect (low 70s, no wind), my brother-in-law brought his welder over Saturday morning, and we knocked out the floor pan patch I had been putting off since winter. What made it stand out was that I actually had a plan taped to the garage wall: Friday was tear down, Saturday was welding, Sunday was primer, Monday was cleanup. Normally I just wander out there and stare at the car for an hour, then fix something small and call it a day. That Monday night I sat in a lawn chair with a cold one just looking at the progress. But now I'm back to one random Saturday a month and the momentum is gone. How do you all break a big project into chunks when your free time comes in small slices instead of one long stretch?
