Update: 3 weeks to chase down a phantom brake squeal on my '68 Dart

Turned out to be a bent backing plate rubbing the rotor only on hard left turns, and I found it by accident when my buddy grabbed the wheel while I spun it in his driveway in Reno, so has anyone else chased a noise that only shows up in one direction?
